Holbrook Family

J Photography does A LOT of family portraits. November through January is our peak time with everyone home for the holidays and on leave from the military. When the kids get older, getting everyone together does become a bit more difficult, so cherish the moments with a great family portrait! It's never too late to have one commissioned and once everyone goes their separate ways again, you will be glad you did.

Our sessions are really easy, NO sitting fees, and our "create your own package" pricing starts at $200, for hassle free purchasing of prints, custom decor and CD of images. We really enjoyed having the Holbrooks in our studio, and we would love to have your family become part of ours as well!

Lance & Stephanie

 Another wonderful couple, who made our job easy with such a wonderful wedding. My wife and I have known Lance and Stephanie for years, so when they planned their wedding, it was just a bonus that Tamara and I were asked to photograph it for them!

Their particular venue was overlooking Lake Ray Hubbard in the Garland / Rockwall area. It was an outdoor wedding, but thankfully not in August so no one had a heat stroke! Thanks again Lance and Stephanie for choosing Tamara and I to capture your special day.

Mason is 1!

We've photographed Mason from the time his mom was 8 months along! We have seen him for photos every 3 months it is amazing how much he has grown! J Photography kids are just like our own! My wife and I are so privileged to share all these milestone moments with their parents and document them with portrait artistry that will last a lifetime.

Mila

Welcome to the world Mila! Another beautiful newborn that we had the privilege of photographing at our studio. It seems like only a week ago that we photographed her mom's maternity session. Enjoy a few of the select images from her session, and please pass the word if you or someone you know is expecting. We would LOVE to have them at the studio too!

Portrait Artistry

You don't always have to do a full blown session, and then buy lots of prints from each pose. We also specialize in portrait artistry. If you have an idea/vision for a portrait of your child, we will be happy to make it a reality, with no obligation to buy a full session and purchase from several poses etc. Our Tier 2 photography  gives you the option to come in to the studio, discuss your ideas with Tamara and myself and create a plan to achieve it. Christina's Maternity Session

Inherently, shooting lots of newborns also results in shooting plenty of maternity photos too. Ladies, your baby bump IS sexy, so don't let time get away without recording this stage in your life!

Christina came to us for maternity and newborn photos, but had some apprehensions. After she discussed some ideas with Tamara, we made them happen!  Once Mila  (the cutest baby we've ever photographed besides our own) arrived, we went to work on her newborn portraits as well.  Those will certainly be posted as soon as mom has seen them.
